About Me: Grew up in the inner Sunset. Discovered Haight St. in 1966 (I was 15!). First saw the Grateful Dead in '66 or '67 - I think at the Panhandle or Haight St., but maybe G.G. Park. Lots of free shows, lots of Winterland, plus Ocean Beach, San Rafael, Santa Rosa, plus...? Many a sunrise on top of Mt. Tam. after the show. Plenty of drugs, so a lot is a blur. Only saw the Grateful Dead maybe 5 or 6 times after I went off to college in 1975 - much to my regret. My brother arrested Jerry in GG Park in 1985. Still have a few posters and ~ 200 different handbills. In AK for almost 30 years now.
