and the english version is funnier because of the German accents, rather than trying to immitate the real voices of Bert and Ernie in my opinion. comedy is not pretty.
actually, that Jim Hanson dude or whoever made the muppets needs to create all new characters to play the boys in the band... this is like like trying to find an actor who could play Garcia in the film about his life... can't be done in my humblest of Humbolt inspired opinions.
