Two nights in Worcester, Mass.: 4/18 and 4/19. Planning to go?
I am planning to go to both nights - 1st time to a Show since I saw Bobby in Mansfield in 96 I think it was with SCI. Last "The Dead" show was Mansfield in '04. I miss Jerry though.
Has anyone heard anything about when GDTS is planning on mailing out tix. I have seen a lot of talk about the on-line presale but nothing about the GDTS tickets.
Been with The Dead since '82 at the old Boston Garden. I'm going both nights but I have a pair of extras for each that I will have this week when UPS brings 'em. Anybody want 'em drop me a line at the 'ol inbox.
Never been to western Mass B4. I'm taking Amtrak to Albany and Worcester and will probably stay in hotels (especially if the weather is iffy) but I wanted to see if anybody knew of any camping spots out that way.
Also shuffling off to Buffalo then back to sweet home chicago.
but I'm not missing that show :)
I'm also gonna try to get to Saturday's but that may be tougher... high prices & low availability %) where's the dead net section going to be?
Peace
Got tickets for Greensboro, then coming back home for Sat and Sun in Worcester!!
Only thing that would make it better... The tickets in my grubby little mitts!! Mail them already!!
Got an email last night that my Worcester Tickets Shipped!!
In response to eFreak... There isn't any place I know of in Worcester to camp easily, we have some parks near by, but none in places I'd want to spend the night outside. Unfortunately not everyone is a friendly dead head... If you want some more info or help finding a spot send me a message and I'll see what I can do.
Hey, i have never been to an East Coast show b4, and am wondering if the fuzz will allow vending of food/shirts/whatnot.
That Mass double show would be great to raise money for the tour, but what is it like over there to set up and sell? I'm talkin peanuts, so no way am I interested in a permit.
Anybody have thoughts on this?
What are some good things to sell these days?
Peace!
Got an e-mail saying my pre-sale Worcester tix have been sent, should get here tomorrow!!
if you are going to vend i would stick with something you can walk around with..there is no one lot it is a bunch of smaller lots in the area...the fuzz will be in force... i have watched them use there clubs to clear the lot...i don't to be a fear monger just be careful
From the Rehearsal videos it looks like "The Boys" are ready to rip. Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers and Gov't Mule) has both the talent, positive attitude, and cohesiveness to make Jerry more than proud.
Ideas of where to meet? Directly behind the "Drums" between sets? -- like usual
