Looks like

the Ritters are history, for now at least.

Conversation is always more interesting than recitation, so speak your mind and not someone else's.

man, one can only hope

if the Ritters are those self-parody things with the shape like the guitar in the White Gold milk commercial and the flashing blue lights. Sheesh.

Stick with the Modulus. It has served you well. Also its maker is a pal of mine of course.

I have no complaints either way

I have to say, every show since Phil switched basses has been epoch.

Looks that way

He had another Modulus in the back up rack in AC (easy to tell them apart just by the headstock, he keeps his backup right next to the clock) and it looks like they were gone by RCMH.

I admit

I am old and cranky on the subject of the flashing blue light thing, but I think it was plain ugly.

c'mon, man

phil would make a cigar box with twine and a mop handle sound good

Modulus is awesome.

I agree with J'man that he could make anything sound good. But that guitar is made for sound, not flash and to me it embodies exactly what Phil is all about....not flash and glitz, but straight out of the barnyard bombs.

Plus I think he feels better and more comfortable playing the Modulus, he couldn't stop smiling in Chicago that I do know.
